Join Catherine Manschot for an Introduction to In-flight Raptor Identification


This presentation is designed to introduce you to strategies for identifying diurnal raptors seen in Ontario, including the use of shape, flight behaviour, and field marks. Catherine will conclude with an in-depth look at the Red-tailed Hawk, our “yardstick” raptor.


Catherine Manschot is a former teacher, a hawk enthusiast, and a Niagara Peninsula Hawkwatch counter and committee member responsible for administration and education.
