Trip Description: Fall on Pelee Island
Sunday September 26 to Tuesday September 28
This special three day outing to Pelee Island will permit participants to explore the fall migration on Canada’s southern island. The trip commences on Sunday morning at Kingsville with the ferry crossing to the island. Once on the island we will then sample many different aspects of the natural heritage of the island. Each day will see a variety of migrants -- both birds and insects. Each morning we will be visiting Fish Point Provincial Nature Reserve and then proceed to other areas on the island during the balance of the day.
The trip cost is $275 per person based on double occupancy (single supplement is available). The price includes two nights' accommodation at the Wandering Dog Inn, continental breakfasts, lunches and entrance fee to the Pelee Island Heritage Centre. Suppers and ferry fees are not included. Registration is required with the Parkers at mparker19@cogeco.ca. Space is limited to 8 participants.
