Trip Description: 

October 9 (Saturday) Barrie

Leader Jim Coey. Meet at the City of Barrie Dock Road Municipal Parking lot at 204 Dock Road, south-east corner of Dock Road and Plunkett Ct. at 9.00am We will look for lingering migrants in the parks and waterfowl on the lake. Lake Simcoe has had some surprising birds over the years. Who knows what will turn up? Car pool and easy walking and usually cool. Gulls, waterfowl and winter finches. Possible Pacific Loon, Little Gulls.

Who can come: Trip is for OFO members.  One birding buddy is allowed where required. Maximum: 20 participants.

What to bring: Water, sunscreen, insect repellent , rain gear, snacks, lunch.. Please contact trip leader in advance if you require loaner binoculars or accommodations by sending email to: admin@ofo.ca. 

If you have one, bring telescope.

Terrain: Flat terrain. Slow pace.

Facilities: Restrooms available.
