October 3 (Sunday) Amherst Island
Leader: Mike Burrell. Meet at 7:50 am at carpool lot south of 401 at exit 593 (Camden East Road). We'll check Amherst Island (ferry fee) and, time-permitting some other Kingston area hotspots for late migrants including sparrows, waterfowl, gulls and other waterbirds. Trip ends mid-afternoon. Bring a lunch and cash for the ferry, and be prepared for some moderate walking. Pre-registration for this outing is required at ofo.ca
Who can come: Trip is for OFO members. One birding buddy is allowed where required. Maximum: 20 participants.
