October 3 (Sunday) Westmeath Provincial Park & Lac Dore
Leader: Mark Gawn. Situated on the Ottawa River near Pembroke, Westmeath Park is a noted migration stopover for Nelson’s Sparrow and occasionally Le Conte’s Sparrow. Lac Dore, a fish-filled lake, regularly attracts many small gulls, grebes, and loons along with the occasional rarity. Meet 8:00 a.m. in Cobden at the Cobden Boat Launch.
Who can come: Trip is for OFO members. One birding buddy is allowed where required. Maximum: 20 participants.

What to bring: Water, sunscreen, insect repellent, rain gear, snacks. Bring lunch. Please contact trip leader in advance if you require loaner binoculars or accommodations by sending email to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Terrain: Flat terrain. Bring rubber boots in case needed at Westmeath Park.
Facilities: Restrooms available enroute and at the provincial park.
